Gurgaon is known for its dazzling skyscrapers, glass structures, and flawless skyline. However, the true image of Gurgaon, the one that few people get to see, lies hidden behind the skyscrapers. It is there that we met families whose strength is much brighter than any building.
A few steps away from the luxurious flats and the lighted offices, there are makeshift settlements crafted out of tarpaulin material, bamboo sticks, and pieces of metal. It is here that whole families reside, earn, hope, and survive.

Kids played along narrow dusty trails, making their own fun out of whatever they could scrounge. Moms cooked up meals using whatever was available in limited quantities but in limitless love. Dads came home from a shift at work, exhausted but smiling.
There had been struggle, yes — but there had been, as well, pride, unity, and hope.
We visited them with only one goal in mind: to make their life a little easier.
Launched in association with our initiative, slippers have been delivered to children and families residing in such unseen corners of this global hub. This was no elaborate distribution or socially networked event. Only muffled conversations and smiles that have impacted us profoundly.

Standing among all the towering buildings, as well as all of the people, we understood something important about ourselves:
The true strength of Gurgaon does not lie in its high-rise buildings but in its citizens. Individuals who rise early in the morning, put in the hard work, overcome obstacles, and are still able to smile. Individuals who construct the very buildings that define what the city is, but live in the background. It was during this visit that we were reminded why we are on this mission. We’re not just here to sell shoes. “We’re here to make sure that every step we take as a brand is uplifting someone else’s.” And as we walked away, we didn’t just leave footprints − “We brought their strength with us.”
